Howard Kingsbury Smith (— February 15, 2000) was an American journalist, radio reporter, television presenter, political and film commentator. Another presenter who was the first, the first female presenter of a news network, ABC Evening News, while she was a co-anchor with Harry Reasoner. You had to be tough and working news in those days among the all-male presenters club. She didn't back down and was a true professional, and today she is revered in her field for her catalog of quality works.
